  • Dazzle Jazz approached ArtHouse Design to create a new brand identity and signage for their new venue in the Denver Performing Arts Complex.

The new brand identity pairs a bold, contemporary sans-serif typeface with vintage-inspired, abstract representation of sound. The chromatic palette, and line work creates movement through the concentric icon.

The juxtaposition of old and new reflects Dazzle’s history and mission to engage with audiences of all ages, and listen more.

The main listening room features a custom stage. The Dazzle icon wraps the ceiling and intentionally frames the performers. Because the audience faces the window, the stage’s backdrop is comprised of a system of layers.

The Dazzle gradient is applied to the street-facing windows, while mesh and black-out curtains are suspended from the interior ceiling. This allows the venue the ability to control the amount of light let into the listening room. When complete darkness is not required, the window vinyl lights up the room and contributes to the ambiance.
